There are a number of organisations that have been funded by government to play a role in reforming and delivering services for disabled children, young people with special education needs and their families.

Explanation of reform areas:

The government intends to make changes to the way children with special educational needs are supported as part of the Children and Families Bill. These changes include moving young people from statements to Education, Health and Care plans; requiring local authorities and health bodies to work in partnership and local authorities publishing a "local offer" of services available.

The organisations below are undertaking work that relates to each of these areas.
