On Friday 20th April the Council for Disabled
Children (CDC) and Mott MacDonald
co-hosted an event for all voluntary sector Special
Educational Needs and Disability Green Paper delivery
partners.
The day focused on allowing delivery partners to share
specialist knowledge on key strategic areas.
Sessions included a workshop on key working which looked at how
key working is a function rather than a role and on personalisation
in its broadest sense, and how it can help disabled young people
and their families ordinary lives.
In the afternoon attendees looked at the local offer and the
single plan and how both areas can link together.
The learning from this day is being used to development of a
knowledge paper to support SEND Green paper
Pathfinders and wider local area's development.
