As part of our
strategic partner grant CDC is responsible for identifying
evidence on what does and doesn't work in terms of support for
disabled young people. This information will be used to
inform policy and practice development and planning.
In September 2011 CDC formed a research working group to take
this work forward. The group is particularly keen on evidence from
organisations on research relating to disabled children and young
people on any of these two key themes:
- Cost effective practice - evidence of impact
- Measuring outcomes for children and young people with a range
of needs
The working group will use this information to map what research
is already available. We will then identify gaps
and advise the Department for Education on any future research
to commission.
At this link you can find a research gathering
template. Please use this form to tell us about any relevant
research that your organisation has taken part in or that you are
aware of. Please return this form to jcrangle@ncb.org.uk by
Thursday 1st March.
