Practice

practice.jpgCDC works closely with local areas to help identify obstacles to implementing government policy. We carry out individual work with these local areas to help them improve their practice.

We also work with our members and partners to write effective practice guidance on a wide variety of issues, from the inclusion of children with high support needs to best practice in ensuring the participation of disabled children.

As well as this we hold events, conferences and seminars to support the exchange of good practice.

We also work directly with disabled young people in various different ways including through our Young Ambassadors programme.
