Work themes
CDC
is concerned about the whole child, their family and their support
networks. We ensure that we pick up on any developing issue that
may impact on their lives.
We also have an ongoing focus on subject areas that we know are
of particular concern for disabled children. These areas are:
- Education -
including influencing education policy
- Health -
including ensuring disabled children have access to the right
healthcare for them
- Participation - including our Young
Ambassadors project
- Social care
- including short breaks and personalisation
- Transition -
including disseminating best practice
Young, Disabled and
